A Cruise Specialist is responsible for managing clients' travel needs, including booking flights, transfers, and boat accommodations. This role also involves fostering relationships with external agencies to secure the best possible deals for clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients' travel preferences, including accommodation and special interests.
  • Recommend travel itineraries based on routes, cost, availability, and convenience.
  • Handle travel and accommodation reservations, including bus, plane, ship, and train connections.
  • Communicate travel dates, baggage limits, and medical/visa requirements to clients.
  • Provide clients with information about tourist attractions, tour availability, and local destinations.
  • Assist with obtaining travel clearances when necessary.
  • Collect payments, issue itineraries, travel documents, tickets, and accommodation vouchers.
  • Address inquiries from tourists, offering guidance on travel routes, tours, accommodations, and local customs.
  • Provide clients with literature and information on local and interstate tours and places of interest.
  • Discuss transport options, costs, and availability with clients.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required.
  • Access to a computer or smartphone.
  • Must be 18+ and coachable.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
